Banana Split has arrived on US Netflix after releasing on digital platforms earlier in the but fans of the movie need that ending explained. There is much satisfaction to be found in watching a female friendship painted in such detailed strokes, and seeing that deep emotional bond exist above and beyond any romantic entanglements.
It’s funny, filthy and so much better than your average run of the mill teen comedy.

A young guy named Harley is a huge fan of the Banana Splits show. So close to a 4/5Smart and well acted, Banana Split offers a fresh look at female friendship in a unique situation. I feel the Booksmart vibes for sure but the comedy fell short in some places. Regardless of how far audience members are from their own post-high school, pre-college summer like these teens, there's still truth and plenty of laughter here that feels specific to their experience yet universal to anyone who's had a BFF.
